Accessible Small Group Tour FAQs

Why Should I Join Your Tours?

I know what it’s like traveling both with limited mobility and as a wheelchair user and have successfully gone to 20 countries across 4 continents (including Antarctica). Additionally, I have planned all of these trips myself.

As a result, I know what to look for when it comes to accessibility. While it is hard to meet everyone’s individual needs, I strive to make these wheelchair-accessible small group tours as inclusive as possible.

I research and use only the best and most reputable accessible travel companies to ensure everyone has a fantastic trip. Furthermore, I provide support and information so that your concerns and questions are addressed so you can show up and have an incredible time.

Can Anyone Join These Tours?

Yes! These tours are open to everyone. Whether you have limited mobility, are a wheelchair user, or someone without a disability, anyone can join.

My goal is to make these tours as inclusive as possible. However, as everyone has different accessibility needs, there may be some tours that are better suited to your needs than others. Please review the information for each specific tour to get an idea if it is right for you. If you still have questions, please feel free to email me at worldonwheelsblog@gmail.com.

How Much Do These Tours Cost and What is Included?

I try to keep all of my tours as affordable as possible. Generally, they are $3,500 or less per person and include airport transportation, accommodations, tours/sightseeing, and some meals. Airfare, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included.

Please see the specific tour information which will list all of the inclusions and exclusions for that trip.

Do You Actually Run These Tours?

I am not a tour guide nor am I a travel agent. I use companies that specialize in and understand accessible travel to run the tours. My role is to choose the dates and locations of the tours and organize a group of people who will travel together with me to that destination.

Some of the places we go and companies that we use do not organize groups themselves, so to help make these trips and destinations more affordable, I choose to organize a small group so that the cost is divided amongst more people.

Can I Request a Destination for a Tour?

Of course! I always want to make sure I’m organizing tours that you (my readers) are interested in.

While I cannot guarantee that it is possible or will happen (things like price and group availability can prevent this), I will do my best and look into options. I also plan these tours at least a year in advance as it is very difficult to organize group travel with short notice.

➡️ Email me at worldonwheelsblog@gmail.com to let me know where you would like to go on the next small group tour!

What If I’m Interested in a Destination, but Concerned About Traveling with a Group?

I get it, small group tours are not for everyone. That’s why I also offer accessible itinerary planning services! For more information on this service, check out my itinerary planning services page.
