Ways We Can Work Together

I am always open to creative ideas on how we can work together that is mutually beneficial. Here are some common ways we can collaborate, but feel free to reach out with other ideas.

I can provide a media kit upon request.

Sponsored Press Trips

I love highlighting the accessibility of specific destinations and encouraging my readers to travel there as well. Additionally, showing people places they may have never thought were possible (due to accessibility concerns) is one of my goals.

When a company or tourism board sponsors me to travel to their destination, there are a variety of packages I can offer. Typically items I include are social media campaigns and blog posts, but I can create a tailor-made offering to meet your goals and interests.

Many of my hotel review posts and wheelchair-accessible where-to-stay posts rank in the top 5 of Google’s search results. I’m happy to provide specific examples of my work.

Public Speaking Events

Whether virtual or in person, I can provide presentations that focus on traveling with a disability. I can speak to people in the tourism industry, people with disabilities who want to travel, and destinations to give tips and ideas on how they increase their accessibility.

I held an online accessible travel summit in November 2023 and had very positive feedback. Over 650 people registered from a variety of backgrounds (including travel agents, people with disabilities, and caregivers).

Brand Ambassador or Partnership

Want to make your brand more inclusive and represent people with disabilities in your marketing? I am happy to work with brands and companies to promote your products and services.

I can highlight your product and service in many ways, including, blog posts, social media campaigns, newsletter ads and mentions, and more.

Some examples of companies that would be good fits for this partnership are clothing brands, cruise lines, accessible rental car companies, mobility equipment providers, airlines, adapted RV brands and services, and much more.

Feel free to email me at worldonwheelsblog@gmail.com so we can discuss your ideas and proposal further.

Guest Posts and Reviews

If you would like more accessibility information for your own website, I’m happy to provide guest posts that are SEO-optimized to rank as well as reviews of any accessible services that you offer.

Since blog posts are more evergreen than social media campaigns, this can be a long-lasting resource that benefits your company/brand.

Sponsor My Newsletter

Currently, my newsletter has over 1,400 subscribers and an average open rate of 42%. Emails are sent out twice a month.

If you would like to place an ad or sponsor one or more of these newsletters, we can discuss placement and pricing. Please note that your ad should be relevant to traveling with a disability (i.e. an accessible service you provide, a travel-related product, a helpful app, or a relevant website, etc.).

I will not advertise things related to drug or cannabis use, treatment of diseases, or any content or information I deem inappropriate or not beneficial.

Offer Discounts or Coupons to My Readers

If you have a product or service that you think my readers (who are all travelers with mobility problems) would enjoy or benefit from and you would like to offer them a discount or coupon, I’m happy to help provide some advertisement in return.

Product Reviews

If you would like to gift me a product or service, I can write reviews and possibly include other promotional tools to highlight it. Products should be related to travel or living with a disability with my audience being a part of your demographic.

Referral Fees

Are you a travel agent or accessible travel provider and would like to increase your client base? If you have an affiliate program or offer referral fees, I am happy to send my readers your way (when appropriate) to help you get more clients.

What People Are Saying

Kristin Understood Our Needs

My husband and I both have health issues that make traveling more challenging. Kristin has been to Ireland and was very knowledgeable about places to visit that could accommodate our needs. Walking long distances are not an option for us so she shared her experience of places we could visit without walking far. She knew lack of strength and being over tired could be an issue so she explained about our mobility options and if needed where we could access equipment. We toured Ireland comfortably both on the ship and on land with her recommendations. I found her website World on Wheels is for anyone concerned about their ability to travel. She covers the simple things that make traveling easier and things you might not even be aware of. Thank you, Kristin, for your support.

Great Customer Service

Just want to give a few “huge” shout out to Kristin. Kristin has assisted me numerous times over the last 9 months with travel information and itineraries. Kristin is intelligent, motivated, caring, and detail-oriented, and provides superior customer service. What’s great about asking Kristin for guidance is that she’s actually traveled to so many places, she can give you guidance based on actual experience. She has vast knowledge, is a wealth of information and she’s extremely cost conscious. Kristin won’t give you information just to move you along. Kristin gives travel information because she’s actually experienced it herself and she wants to keep costs down for anyone she assists. Traveling lives in her soul; she doesn’t give lip service.

Kristin Helps EVERYONE Travel

If you’ve ever wanted to travel abroad, talk with Kristin – she’s so knowledgeable. She’s gained such great insight in overseas travel with having physical challenges and yet those of us with none did not notice any deceleration in our activities because of it. Kristin’s greatest gift is being an ambassador for those with challenges to allow them freedom and ability to see the world. If one is considering traveling within the United States or abroad, consider talking with a Kristin. You will gain the greatest insight and foundation for what you need to travel efficiently, affordably and with the most enjoyment you’ll ever have. “Travel is to live” and Kristin is living proof that nothing can really stop you if you have the craving to see the world.

Kristin Makes Travel Dreams a Reality

Kristin was so helpful in making my dream trip to Ireland a reality! She made sure that I visited sites of interest to me – which were ancient sites like Newgrange and researched and found the perfect tour guide company that fit our needs and budget. She did so much for me, and I am forever grateful!
